Does anyone know how much torque you can apply to these (approx.) to get them to seal? New flex hose, new copper washers , rebuilt calipers. What about bleeders? I'd hate to strip the caliper threads although it hasn't happened yet.

Don, it's better to under torque them, than to have them strip. On the banjo bolt, be gentle with them at first. If they leak, tighten them a little bit more until they seal. Just go easy on them.
