Henry D May 25th, 06, 09:16 PM This is an open thread. Some of you love us, while some of you hate us. Point being, I have a spot open for a Tech Editor. Think you're man enough? Have what it takes? Think you can handle it? E-mail me at dlssystem@gmail.com. Yes, that's my personal e-mail - send in your resume and lets see what we can do.
Honestly, be it what you will, meaning, what you think of our book....think you can make it better? Then here's your chance. E-mail me and we'll be in touch.

JimM May 25th, 06, 09:48 PM Henry, Don't know that I'd like to take a pay cut to move to CA, but it sure would be a cool job.

Check the link above, we sure would love it if you sent a scribe to our get together, bet your readers would love it too. Camaros from all over the country, converging on Billing Montana just to share some good time with people we know thanks to the internet.
Jim
Joe Harrison May 25th, 06, 10:18 PM wow that would be a cool job, but I can't spell worth a darn
JimM May 26th, 06, 05:40 AM not a prob, Joe, Word has spell and grammer checking!
parkbrau May 26th, 06, 08:16 AM Maybe Joe writes like this:
Sum won tolled me wee wood knot knead two learn how too spell because computers wood dew it four us. Eye disagree. Dew ewe ?
Every spell checker out there would let that one pass.

kz1000ltd May 26th, 06, 10:36 AM Sorry, no trailer, my project cars are always drivable!!!! What do you need one for? Maybe Belair Bob can help you out before he moves?

Motorhead62 May 26th, 06, 11:09 AM I'm available. :D
I am retiring form the active duty Air Force real soon! Do you want a "Real Motorhead" that won't be swayed by the advertisment money?
I would love to build, thrash and tell the tale! :D
JimM May 26th, 06, 11:52 AM Active duty air force? are you sure that's Motorhead, and not ROTORHEAD?
RPOL72 May 26th, 06, 12:55 PM Henry, when are you gonna print my story man? -Tony N.
Motorhead62 May 26th, 06, 01:00 PM Active duty air force? are you sure that's Motorhead, and not ROTORHEAD?
Dude!
I do Jet Engines:
Suck, Squeeze, Bang and Blow! LOL! Not Rotors! (I hope you don't have a dirty little mind)
Turn and Burn! Nothing like tuning Jets that have thousands of HP on tap!
zdld17 May 26th, 06, 01:37 PM Hey Dudes, heard someone ask about a trailer?? Chris or KS1000 or Motorhead,, you thinking about going to Billings? I am still looking for some company on the long haul.
clwilcox33 May 26th, 06, 01:42 PM zdld17, did you see my post on the Billings trip thread?
http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?p=567804#post567804
Let me know there. If you just want someone to ride along with ya I'm game. I just wasn't going to go because my car wouldn't be ready.
zdld17 May 26th, 06, 02:11 PM Yes , I saw your orginal post. Sorry about your car. Anybody else driving up that you know of ... I will be stopping off in Casper either coming or going,, not sure yet and for how long.
Got my fuel pump issue out of the way... Got so much volume now I could prolly sell some on the way up. Will me making the Route 66 run to Alburque in June (primer trip) then if all goes well,,, head north in July.
clwilcox33 May 26th, 06, 02:30 PM I'll let you know if I hear of anyone else driving up there. Holler at me if you decide you just want someone to ride with you and split the cost of the trip. I really don't want to drive my daily driver all the way there.
deerhunter May 26th, 06, 02:32 PM Damn, we live 132 miles from Billings and my Camaro will still be in the paint shop. If you have the time you should cross the Big Horn mountains either at Buffalo or Sheridan, Wy. for some real scenery. The Southern part of Wyoming is nothing compared to the North.
zdld17 May 26th, 06, 02:39 PM Done the Tetons, Cody, Buffalo and Thermopolis long ago . Saw lots of antelope , etc. At one point I thought I was back in the Texas plains but when I got to the hills and Shonone ? area, I thought not..
Deerhunter or is that Elkhunter,,, anyway if the car is in progress, bring it on out if you live that close... That way you will get a free ride on bug juice and rock chips. I got a bra long ago for my car and I guess this will be the time to break it in. I think anytype of nose proctection is better than none.
Don
JimM May 26th, 06, 03:38 PM Don, can you shoot me some info on that bra?
Sounds like a good idea.
Also, may be able to hook you up with some company in denver.
zdld17 May 26th, 06, 04:01 PM Jim, This was the only person I could find that had knowledge of these bra's or nose cover, what ever you wish to call them. I got mine from them,, do regular business as Pattie, the brain there, will ship out and I can get my stuff next day. http://www.firewheelclassics.com/onlinecatalog.htm
I did not like the way mine fits as on a 69, there are taller fender peaks and material does seem to flap but I intend to stuff this area with some bath towels. Looks like it would fit a 67 or 68 better but box said 69... Give her a call... Its the best nose protection I have found. Ricks http://www.firstgen.com/
did not handle them at the time I was calling around... They may have them now. You may even call Classic.
Larger Dave May 26th, 06, 06:47 PM I've been reading CHP since John Diana's days, back when it was a quarterly. If you have read any of the things I have written then you have a good idea of what to expect from me. Even if you do not consider me for the position, I would still hope to be able to contribute on a freelance basis.
I have a degree in engineering, thought those days are behind me. I would consider myself versed in Chevy lore. People think I bleed orange because I am so hard on the Furd Mustang boys (I have been known to humiliate them in front of their peers); it's not the Ford oval I have a hard time with so much as the owners attitude toward the bow tie.
I will be forwarding a brief resume, as the last one I wrote was three pages. Hope to hear from you soon. And as for the rest of you on this board I would like to quote from my latest nephew, "MINE!"
Larger Dave
zdld17 May 26th, 06, 08:29 PM I recall Diana's topics back when Project X first came out . He also did a topic on a Clockwork Chevy car. Both bullet proof 57's.
