I bought a under dash wiring harness from M&H wiring a while back. The other day, I went to plug in the plug to the resistor on the heater box and realized that the plug is bigger than the prongs on the resistor. My question is... Are the plugs bigger for an AC equipped car, than a non AC car? Is it possible they might of accidently installed the wrong size plug on the harness? I know the resistors are different on AC and non AC cars. I'm not sure about the difference in the plugs though. Thanks

thats an odd duck Dave, never heard that raised before. You can probably just cut off the small plastic head and re-install the larger one to fit. Just my guess since the resistor probably wont be needed all that much on your radio :)

Thanks Jim for the reply......Actually the plug is too big to fit into the resistor prongs on the heater box. I can always splice a plug from one of my other spare harnesses, but only as a last resort. I hate to cut into a new wiring harness to replace a plug. I was just wondering if the plugs for the resistors on AC cars is bigger than non AC cars.

The blower motor resistor on an A/C car is under the hood in the evaporator box, not in the duct under the dash like non A/c cars have. Plus it has more terminals on it then a non A/C car (at least 69 do). Don't know if there is a difference in non A/C blower motor resistors between 67's, 68's and 69's though.
