Ok, so I have read that 1970 camaros that were built in LA not Norwood, the build sheet sometimes is found on top of the gas tank. Is there a way of loosening something up and taking a peek without having to remove the gas tank. ( it is empty right now)

Most likely you will find the build sheet under the front seat. I have found a few there on second gen Camaros.

You have heard or read wrong info.....Norwood 1970 Camaros (with VERY FEW exceptions) did not get shipped with any build sheet. Los Angeles 70 Camaros are the ones that had build sheets over gas tanks or under seat springs, carpet etc etc
