Hi, I am swaping out the 250 in my 68 camaro to a 350. Can anyone tell me about the mounts? what do i need to replace to make this happen? Thanks for your help. Chuck

You will need the V-8 frame mounts...These should do...

Also, here is a decent thread that discusses the swap and some other things to think about..

Thanks for the help, the thread was very insightful, i am planning on an HEI distributer, so I'll watch for that.

I have v8 springs, wanted to cut them down some to get a couple inches of drop. Someone said in the thread that they used the 6cyl springs? What is your take on this?

I'd be interested in knowing how much of that guys undercariage has been damaged from that 6 cyl spring swap. From and engineering standpoint, you can not expect to get the same performance from the 6 cyl springs supporting a 350's weight that you get from an engineered lowering kit designed for proper weight distribution and transfer as well as accounting for front end geometry changes. I bet that 6 cyl guy hate how it handles, throwing a weaker set of springs in the front end would also result in more body roll in corners. The camaro's stance is awesome, why mess with perfection.
