The "VOC" part is simply a desigation of low VOC. Funny thing is most everything has the VOC on it nowadays being the national VOC Rule took effect a couple of years ago. I do have to say as a rule the lower the VOC the harder it is to shoot. This is a huge generality, but true none the less. The VOC is "Volatile organic compound", the nasties that go up into the atmosphere. So low VOC products have less solvent in them. This requires more atomization to get them to lay out flat. Air or solvent (lower viscosity) = atomization. If you don't have the solvent you need more air. This means the gun set up is critical. If this "VOC speed" clear is something like a 4.1 or 4.0 Med solids clear like is required under national rule, the low VOC shouldn't be a problem. If it is a 2.1 or 3.5 VOC like required in some countys like San Francisco or LA, that is a big difference. ------------------ Fan of anything that is interesting and moves human beings. 1965 Buick Gran Sport Convertible 1965 Buick Skylark H/T 1948 Chevy PU with 401 Buick pace11 Jul 11th, 02, 04:39 PM SO THE DCU 2021 SHOULD BE THE ONE TO USE.
