Where can I get the snaps for the interior rear quarter panels that hold the boot on? They have an 8 or 10-32 thread stud on the back and I don't see them in any of the repro catalogues?

you can actually just buy snaps at a local hardware store and put a screw right through the center of them

Rick's carries a set of 4 as part number CV-40, $8.95.

At this point I feel like I have their catalog memorized....

I need the snaps as well and was going to buy them from ricks just becasue every time I remember that I need them it is late and I am in front of the computer, just easier to order them on the net and have them shipped. The problem I found is that the shipping nearly doubled the price from what I remebered, I just couldn't see spending 16 dollars on four snaps and screws. How about throwing them in an envelope and shipping them for 60 cents, for 8 bucks they would probably come in a ten inch box full of packaging....lame!

I bought a set from Ricks and although the snaps look the same, they do not thread into the original nuts within the interior. In comparing the threaded part of the snaps, the one's from Ricks are slighly larger. So if you want to use them, you may have to change the interior hardware.

Thus, using my drill and some metal polish, the original snaps cleaned up real nice and work great.

I agree, the ones from Rick's don't fit into the original threads.
