So the base camaro is a v6 with introduction everything
RS (rallisport) is from what i've heard a Z28 with a V6 basically
Z28 is the RS with the 5.7L and upgraded suspension
SS(supersport) is a Z28 with more horsepower, different wheels, wider tires etc

I've only seen RS though on 1995 camaros.. is this just the year they were most commonly purchased or what?

i know that with the v6 you can get the base with hubcaps or you can get the suspension upgrade which is wider tires, 16" alloys, and a stiffer suspension, but wouldn't this be an RS anyway? did they just stop calling it an RS? or is there something else about it that makes an RS different?

if anyone knows every difference between each model, i would like to know about all the differences...i've loved Camaros all my life, but not until recently had i purchased one('96)... i'd like to learn all i can about them, but mainly the 4th gen.

Thanks,
Troy

go buy yourself a camaros book. they have one's that will give you all production numbers, specs, and variations for all the years (67-02). They are not that expensive and will give you hours of reading time
