I have a 327 motor with a 'short' water pump. I've been running an older model flex fan with a spacer. I've decided to replace this arrangement with a clutch fan. I'm waiting on delivery of an original GM 7-bladed fan (p/n 3931002). I'm told the hole spacing on this fan is 3.0 inches. My question is, which model fan clutch do I need? I understand the big block and 302 version has a shorter shaft, but I also understand different models used different hole spacings. I don't want to get one with the right hole spacing only to find the fan is not oriented in the shroud correctly and visa versa.
