New guy here, just had a quick question or two. I just bought a stock 69 straight 6/ powerglide camaro that I have a 454 and TH400 trans for ready and waiting to drop in. My questions are; Will a long water pump setup work in the camaro using all stock 69 camaro big block mounts or do I have to convert the car to a short water pump style??? Also will the driveshaft work without modification for the TH400 using a stock TH400 trans mount? I am mostly just curious if everything will bolt in and work if I buy the BB mounts and trans crossmember. thanks for all your help. Jordan

The long water pump and all brackets will work on your 454. The driveshaft for a TH400 will have to have the yoke replaced that slides into the transmission. The TH400 has a larger output shaft than the TH350 and PG transmissions.

'69 was the first year for the long waterpump style so it would definitly stand out with a short set-up.
