I am thinking about converting points to electronic ignition. I have a 68' Camaro with a 350. Will a Mallory HEI Street/Strip HEI fit? The current distributor looks pretty close to the firewall and the HEI looks a little bigger. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Pertronix has an electronic distributor (Flamethrower) with the factory style cap and rotor. Just installed one on my 69 and works great.

msd #8361 is a good choice also, or you could convert your existing points distributor to electroninc, pertronix and crane make kits to do this. The large hei style caps do not clear the firewall on many firstgens, tho they do on some.
