I have a mild 333 small block. It has a big block radiator and a mech. fan. I want to get rid of it so i am going to order an elctro fan set up.


I have no idea what CFM i need. They sell everything from 1000CFM to 5500CFM!

What would be a good fan for me. Might change motor out to a more radical one, so i would also like to reuse the fan for that.

BTW it is always at 180-190 on a hot day in traffic. Wish to keep it about the same

if you must... big big big! with a full shroud, too. Do not mount it right on the radiator, cuts your cooling capacity to one third!

Also remember that big fan's gonna draw 30 amps minimum, have you upgraded your charging system?

IMHO, nothing cools like a big engine driven fan, and as you can see, they can look good.

use the search funtion i have a f taurus fan on my rad you can also use a lincon mark VIII both are 3000+ cfm (the plus side is that either of these cost less than $100)

or if you want something cleaner looking just try and get more than 3000 cfm

i suggest using the search function and see what suits your needs and funds the best
