I have a 67 with manual steering. My pitman arm does not fit the steering box output shaft. The hole in the pitman arm is too large for the shaft. The number on the arm is 3989477GMT 58B.
The number on the box is 5696084*2 312
Does anybody know what I have? I prefer to keep the manual steering.
Thanks
Chris

You must have a power steering pitman arm, they use a larger shaft/hole.
Just pick up a new manual steer pitman, there is a long and short version depending on how fast you want the steering, faster - more effort.
