I was wondering if anyone new who made a 1st gen camaro hood witht the corevtte stinray cowl with the open front, i saw one on a 68 camaro on the NATIONAL PARTS DEPOT catalog, i called them and the salesman said he didn't know, if anyone does let me know, or i guess i can always mold one onto a flat hood, well thanks

There is a guy here that has one of them I can see if he wounts to sale it if you wount me to. It real old last time I saw it it was in pettry good shape. I wish I could rember who made it it is one of the old companys.

if you want it in fiberglass, www.vfnfiberglass.com (http://www.vfnfiberglass.com) makes this hood. I have heard very good things about their quality as well.
I also think that Rick's now sells a steel version. I am pretty sure the stingray hood is what they call the "Nickey" hood.

why not just buy a 68 yenko hood from classic industries? its glass and priced better than an outlaw cowl hood. i love the teal 68 yenko they useed to have in there show room.

whose talking about an outlaw hood??? no one, outlaw hood is a 4 inch cowl, not a stingray hood??? i will have to get a classics catalog

I think the sting ray hoods are selling for about 400$ or so.

The guy with the hood said he would take $500 for it. And it dose not look that good.It had a lot of bad plases on it. Sorry but it would be a bad deal. The new ones have to look a lot better.
