The crome trime peice that has the seal between the front and rear glass. How are these installed on the rear glass!!??

Go to an auto glass shop....and get the rubber strip (actually neoprene, I think) Take the glass and chrome piece with you. They will be able to give you the correct thickness for your car. Fold it in half over the glass, and force the chrome over the glass and seal. Trim the excess. It is a friction fit, with no adhesive.

I tried this on my last set because the rubber is sometimes very hard to get in correctly. I used aquarium sealer. It's basically an RTV. Filled the chrome about 1/2 all the way down and installed the glass. Just need to make sure the chrome is on straight. You can remove any excess when it drys. Worked really good.

this is to install the crome trim to the glass or the weatherstriping to the crome piece?

Chrome to glass. Weatherstripping slids into place and you should have a small screw on the bottom where it angles.

Glass shops call it "glass setting tape". :thumbsup:
