hey guys my 69 i bought is a x11 has disc brakes came factory with a 12bolt and has a ss hood do you think its a real ss thanks

Sorry, no SS, X-11 was code for the base car with style trim. Of course many of the 427 COPO cars were coded X-11.

did some checking at some decoding sites it shows that x11 is for base car and 350 ss style trimed cars also

Correct that the X-11 is a style trim group. It doesn't confirm it is an SS or that it's not! Does it have factory dual's, the correct fuel line, correct hood springs and how about the steering wheel? Have you found any documentation, POP? You don't mention anything about the motor and trans...

The "Tag Team" forum would have been a beter place for this.

i bought the car with no motor or trans.it has 350 emblems on the fenders it is a factory auto. car which i'm changing to 4-speed it has ss hood i'm not sure if the springs are correct how do i tell it had duel exhaust i belive .

Sorry Greg, my bad, was thinking about X-44, must have big block on the brain. On the duals, check for factory exhaust hangers welded to the rear frame rails. so far, seems to be looking like you may have an SS 350.
