I found my vac connection for the a/c that cuts off the heater hose feeding into the car has cracked or come loose, so my HOT coolant is flowing while Im trying to use the a/c. I dont have the time now to tear apart the dash to get the control out, so I bypassed the coolant flow valve and installed a manual shut off valve. I looked all over and couldnt find a simple valve until I stopped at my Wirsbo inslab heat system buddy's shop. He had the brass thumb turn ball valve in stock with hose bib type ends on both sides, a perfect fit :) Now I should get alot better a/c besides cooler running with windows down :) In case someone wants to shut down their flow, its easy.

You fixed it!. Done. You will get better ac now with the windows up before you get to Billings. 16 more days.

a/c? wuts that? Just hope I can get me a haircut, otherwise I'll be pretty scary after 1300 topless miles!
