View Full Version : How about this roach?
bigblockpace Jun 18th, 06, 09:07 AM Who said line workers don't make mistakes? I ran across this add on ebay. At first I thought what the..... ? What is a 706 interior? With a second glance, I'm sure this is an example of how some tags had "typos" in them. I bet this should have been 760.
In today's world, we are so sure of everything we see that doesn't match up has to be a fake. Here is one to chew on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-Camaro-Convertible-Project-Car-NO-RESERVE-RARE-SS_W0QQitemZ4649288532QQcategoryZ6161QQrdZ1QQcmdZV iewItem
kz1000ltd Jun 18th, 06, 09:13 AM There was an entire thread on this car a couple of weeks ago, I think the guy paid like 3500 for it and a bunch of parts, pretty easy way to make 2K cash in short time, more power to him!
bigblockpace Jun 18th, 06, 09:39 AM That's America for ya`:)
Jonesy Jun 18th, 06, 09:47 AM Nothing to chew on as it has already been discussed and who cares if he made money on it, good for him.

clwilcox33 Jun 18th, 06, 11:50 AM Btw, anyone know what those front seats are? I don't recall any that the backs wrapped around the sides like that, but the fronts look normal...
al8apexer Jun 18th, 06, 11:53 AM GTO or 442
DjD Jun 18th, 06, 01:09 PM Someone said Chevelle in the other post in reference to the seats...

bigblockpace Jun 18th, 06, 07:43 PM Where is the other post on this car?

bigblockpace Jun 18th, 06, 08:15 PM Thanks!
RUSTY69 Jun 28th, 06, 03:15 PM not many people have the means to restore a car like that...or money..
sold for 5,503.78, he did good, eventually it will fall into somebody's hands who will restore it....and chances are they will just sell it.:(
in the end it will find a good home.....unless the tags are ripped off it, for a 2006 body.....in that case R.I.P.
tinygiant Jun 28th, 06, 03:38 PM Wow,
I picked up a first gen convertible (in running condition) for barely more than that car sold for. The deal was better than I thought, I guess.
