I am considering going the no bumper route on the front of my 68. Does anyone out there have any pics? If I go no bumper on the front, then what about the back?

I considered leaving mine off too but after mounting it up and seeing the difference it made, I was compelled to leave it be. To each his own I spose. Post some pics if you have any. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b233/xx68camarorsxx/DSCF0144-1.jpg jeff_gates Jun 18th, 06, 10:21 PM Here is the URL to my camaro shots. There is a nose shot with out the bumper. I have now installed one. This pictures are a little old. http://www.technounix.com/pic/camaro/ Jeff deerhunter Jun 18th, 06, 10:55 PM Gonna be expensive if you hit someone even a little bit. clwilcox33 Jun 18th, 06, 10:57 PM It's gonna be illegal in a lot of states to drive it on the road without a bumper. Not to mention dangerous for you and for your investment. Venom67 Jun 19th, 06, 12:04 AM heres a post I made about it on Pro-touring.com i was wondering it too.. looks like im running without it. :D http://www.pro-touring.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18587 xXLoganXx Jun 19th, 06, 06:05 PM Another thing I realized after looking at different camaros without the front bumper is that on standard camaros it does look better than RS camaros. Having the RS grill and lower lamps in the valance, it really gives off an unfinished look and in my eyes just isn't really appealing. But like I said, "to each his own" http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b233/xx68camarorsxx/Dsc00448.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:14 PM RS with no front bumper. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/67rsss24a.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/67rsss24d.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:16 PM http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/67ss19a.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:17 PM Painted bumper , but you can kinda get the idea. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/67wheelstand.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:18 PM Standard grill '68 http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/DSC00611-1.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:18 PM http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/DSC00614-1.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:19 PM http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/DSC00661-1.jpg HarleyD67 Jun 19th, 06, 10:20 PM Another painted one http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/DSC00726-1.jpg clwilcox33 Jun 20th, 06, 11:59 AM I too think it looks unfinished without a front bumper, but the painted one looks pretty good. They should have painted the rear one too though. fishin4info Jun 20th, 06, 12:08 PM The only reason the front bumper is painted is because it is molded into the fiberglass front end. Brad74 Jun 20th, 06, 08:11 PM I like the no bumper look. There is a pic of one on the last page of this month's CHP. I am convinced. Toyota absolutely red with silver z-28 stripes. |
