I was at a local cars how a few weeks ago and noticed there were many 68 and 67 camaro's with front spoilers. I really like the way they look.
Are they original and how do you know which cars they came on?
Thanks - Ed

No 1967 Camaro is known to have been built with spoilers.
D80 Air Spoiler Equipment became optional for the 1968 model year and included front and rear spoilers. There were two front spoiler designs. The first was a small panel that fastened only to the lower grille panel, used from the start of 1968 production until around May 1968. At that time a larger panel was introduced that mounted similarly but also used three steel reinforcing braces.
Spoilers are commonly seen on Z/28s but were not standard. Any 1968 Camaro could have been ordered with them.

Thanks.
So if my car came with one, it would have the holes drilled for the brackets? Do you need to drill holes to mount one on? While I like the way it looks, I"m not sure I want to start drilin gholes.

I believe the lower grille panel would have to be drilled. There is also a hole in the frame, on the tab between the front crossmembers.
