I am installing a 68 tic-toc-tach in my 67. I had purchased a 67 & 68 wiring diagrams. These diagrams do not show the tach circuit. Can someone give me some direction? I am using a HEI distibutor, and know about the need of a tach filter.
Thanks

Jim a little more info...did you purchase a new printed circuit board? Did you purchase any new wiring harnesses?

The tach goes with the console guages, you're adding both, right?
For a 68, you'll need the tach wire, which is separate from the harness, along with either a guage conversion harness or "guage type" dash and front lighting harnesses, and a guage console harness

I have the 67 printed circuit and was planing on trying to work around that and creat my own harness. I don't have the console guages, but currently have the oil pressure/water temp/amps, and will add a fuel guage with the tach install.

Buy the wiring diagram. Money well spent. It will show you how it was wired from the factory.
