Just checking with other TC members about there addiction to the BOWTIE, is yours as bad as mine has been over these 30 years. The bad thing about mine is it not just the first Gen Camaro's I have 8-67 to 69 Camaro's 2-66 SS Nova's and 1-69 Chevelle Conv. NEVER done DRUGS or drink Alcohol but if they are anymore addicting than these BOWTIE's they would have to go ahead an admit me somewhere.

I am with you and I am only fortunate enough to have one. Funny thing is I had a 66 Mustang Fastback restored and never bought a book, went on a message board or went crazy over the thing. With my Camaro I have a pile of books, this site and can't stop talking or thinking about the thing.

Not sure what's different with this one but it might relate to my high school days. I had a 68 Firebird and loved it. Had to sell it because I was joining the Navy and everyone around me said you can get another one when you're out. Lot easier said than reality.

I never refer to it as an addiction! It is more like therapy from daily stress. Yes when I'm working in the garage I do get frustrated on occasion, but it is different since I know if I just forget about it for a day or two then come back I won't have my boss breathing down my back over it. My garage, I'm the boss so all is up to me! (It's probably a good thing I don't try and do this for a living, I think I would starve!)

OH MY GOD MAN!!! http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/praise.gif
Oh and for the record I'm pretty sure 1 car is a hobby. 2-3 cars is an obsession. More than ten is eccentric beyond what even a 12 step program can cure. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c87/HarleyD67/Smilies/notfair.gifNow seens how I'm only able to afford 1 can you please post LOTS of pictures so I can drool over then for a while.

Next thing you know he will be putting the cars into semi trailers, welding the doors shut on the trailers, backing the door sides of the trailers together, and flattening the tires, just like the story in Hot Rod magazine this month.
