On my 69 coupe my vent windows are super hard to roll up or down.You have to wiggle them front to back to move them.Any idea what is the problem.I lubed the rollers and it helped a little.

The 69 does not have vent windows. Are you talking about the front door or the qtr glass in the rear. If you are talking about the front doors you may have a bented upper channel, that is the part that you bolt to the glass that the regulatosr roller uses. The roller on the regulators maybe bad. Your regulators may need lubing. You will have to pull the panel to look at this. Then you can lube the front and rear up and down channels, all this will help and you can look at everything. If it is the rear windows cleaning and lubing the channel will help and you can get all the rollors from the aftermarket people. Same thing you are going to have to pull the panel to look at them. They are making replacement rollor for the front glass and you can get them from Rick's along with the rear. The main thing is to look at the channels and rollor and make sure the channels are not bented and the rollor are not broken. Good luck Norm

My 1/4 windows were also difficult to roll up/down without pulling on the windown to assist it, i took the whole assy out when replaceing a 1/4 and cleaned everything off with a wire wheel, then i re-greased it all with the same stuff that you would use on your ball joints. After I put it all back together it worked like it was brand new.

I dont know how hard the assy would be to take out from the inside of the car but i assume it could be done
