I have a Camaro with a TH350 and 3:73 gears. My cam is a 228/235 dur, .530 lift 106LSA. 2100-6100RPM range (per lazer cams). I don't know my converters exact stall speed (stock I guess) but I know that I can smoke the tires with the foot brake applied. Having said that... I don't need a higher stall converter if I'm keeping these tires because that would just cause more spin.. right? I'm confused that i'm able to do burnouts with a stock stall and a cam that doesn't start making power until 2100...

If you are driving on the street only and with street tires don't worry about getting more stall. A bigger stall makes a difference at the track but if your cam will idle low enough for stock stall then it's fine.
