Hello Friends-
OK here is the story....shortened of course:
Purchased my car after a "Burnout" at work, I took some time off and packed the family up for a 3500 mile road trip through 8 states looking for my "Dream Car" a '67 Camaro. After not finding one, On the leg home I saw one online from the hotel, Left the wife and kids in Virgina with a map and boarded a plane to Mass. Instantly knew this was the car for me......I know very little mechanically. My whole inspection of the car lasted for the 1/4 mile test drive.....thats all it took. After I said I'd take it, I get handed a box of paperwork which after thumbing through it contained the POP, Maintenance reciepts, details on the restoration, Copies of Titles back to new and more.
After a "Team Camaro" member (Mike...Thanks again) helped me to validate my car I learned that a few items were changed (Intake and exhaust manifolds, carberator and my numbers matching tranny) from original.
Now my joy.........After a few months of quiet but persistant attempts to locate these "born with" not just date/numbers correct parts......My 3 packages arrived today. I recieved the carb, the exhaust manifolds and the intake manifold. That only leaves my Original Muncie Trans to be needed to have my 1967 L-35 396/325hp SS Camaro to be complete numbers matching.
Guess You could say I am pretty happy!!!!!
