My interest in Camaros started when my son was 15,some 20 odd years ago. He got me so hyped up that I found a 68 and gave it to him for his 16th birthday. It wasn't expensive then and needed some work. (springs & shocks etc.) Shortly after that we found a guy in town selling his Camaro.
We made an offer and suprisingly he accepted. It was a 1967 Dark Blue RS SS w/ac. What a beauty. Alas it was rear ended by a drunk driver and all we have left are pleasent memories and a cellar full of parts. I hung onto the parts in hopes that we might get another Camaro some day, but he is now married with two children living in TN and I'm an old man in MA.
I am hoping that I will be able to post some of these parts like a set of SS wheel covers, center console w/gages and more.
Who knows, these parts might live again in your cars.
Thanks for letting me in.
Regards,
Don
