Hi-
I have a freeze out that is leaking slightly and its naturally in a hard spot to get to (behind the drivers side engine mount).
I'm wondering if anyone has a sealer recommendation that worked well that didn't do any damage.
this engine was rebuilt by the prior owner not that long ago, everything else is new.

Thanks!

The best fix I've seen with engine in place is an expandable Dorman freeze plug.

The only problem with it, and I don't know, is there enough depth for the Dorman plug to seat? You don't want the plug to rest against the cylinder wall.

Other than the Dorman, the next thing to do is to pull the engine and replace with the same like & kind. This way you can get a good swing with the hammer to seat it.
