One of the square weights on my driveline fell off when I was banging the yoke bearings out. I planned to get it sandblasted, epoxy and paint, but should I just buy an aftermarket one? How much would it be to re-balance mine? Anyone know of a driveline balancing shop in San Jose or Sacramento?

If you can find a drive shaft shop, rebalancing would be fine if not better. Yellow pages, even a truck shop could do it if they have the equiptment. If worse comes to this, use a large diameter hose clamp and put the screw slot where the missing weight is unit you can find a shop.... Looooongg time ago I used to balance drive shafts this way with a wheel balancer and strobe light.

You should be able to see where it was and be able to just tack it back on. I doubt that you will need a balance if you put it back where it was.
