This is my first question that I am posting. I just purchased a 69RS/SS and it does not have the console gauge pkg. I was wondering how difficult it is to install them if I purchase the complete console gauge assembly, a tachometer to take the place of the existing fuel gauge and the required wiring harnesses? Is it an all day job or a 3 hour job?
Thanks for any help or suggestions,

It will take you more than three hours. All the parts are available from Rick's
fisrt Generation. The tack, gauge set, and wiring harnesses.

It'll take a day to install and wire everything, if you're good and can follow the directions.

You'll need the tach, the complete console guage package, the correct console harness (AT or MT w/guages) and a "guage conversion harness"

The guage conversion harness is made to work with your existing non guage dash and front lighting harness, and it even comes with directions on how to hook everything up.

The template to cut out the hole for the tach has been posted here. If you can't find it I can email it to you.
