I have a 69 ragtop, and my doors have an exterior window guide approx. 2"x 3". I am looking for the adhesive backed felt that goes on the guide. I have called all the local auto glass companys with no luck. If anybody out there has any ideas they would be much appreciated.

Rick's sells the replacement door panel retainer and guide fuzzy material. I couldn't find it on their website but the part number is WW-31. The catalog price is $8.95.

Is this what you are looking for? "Front door window anti-rattle fuzzies. Fuzzy material with backed adhesive. Holds glass tight against outer fuzzy. Set does both doors. Part # WW-31 68-69 Anti Rattle fuzzy set $7.50" from Rick's First Generation. I'm sure other suppliers have them as well. Hope that helps.

There is no date or anything to tell what version catalog I have. I think it is the latest... it has a blue cover.

Yes, that must be a newer one, mine's the black cover, and I know I got it a couple of years ago. Doesn't Rick's send out new catalogs to customers? I just bought like $150.00 order about a month ago and no new catalog. Jeg's and Summit send so many I don't know what do do with them.

That is a bad thing about these companies not sending catalogs. I ordered 700.00 from Ricks and 2800.00 from D & R classics and they sent no catalogs. I had to call them to send me some catalogs. I`m still waiting on them.

Thanks for the info guys, but the glass giudes I'm talking about are for the outside of the glass to ride against. I don't know if these are for convertibles only or not. A friend of mine has a 69 coup and it does not have these. I thought maybe someone had added these until I purchased a set of nos skins and the brace is drilled for the scrwes in the same place. These guides are approx. 2" x 3" with a slight arch in them and are held on with two small philips head screws. There are two on each door.

bill,
I know what you are talking about. The ones that the resto houses sell are for referbishing the inside guides. I've never seen the ones you need. For mine, I went to an upholstery material shop and found a very heavy velvet material. They gave me about a four inch strip across the bolt. I ended up with enough to do my car and also a friend's car. I used spray adhesive to glue it to the metal guide.
