I recently bought a 68' Camaro and they advertised it as a Black Tag car. What does this mean? He also said that it was a SS but it does not have the original engine. It has a 3 speed on the floor. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Here in Ca. original plates were black and in some areas folks refer to lic. plates as tags.............so thats my guess, is it a California car?

Yes I believe you are right. I guess I was just thinking trim tag. But it did have Black License plates. Thanks, now I feel like a dumb ***.
