Before I install the converter, How much fluid do I need to fill it? Where should I fill it up to?

It doesn't hurt to pour in a couple quarts. Pour the rest into the trans after install and let the pump fill it.

Just enough to lube the bearings/bushing is fine. A quart is more than plenty. The second you fire it up the front pump will push fluid in there as long as there's some in the pan.
