Schoon, the radio plates are hold on by the radio nuts. The wiper side has 2 studs to hold it in. the steering wheel I think has a little dab of adhesive by horn buttons. Pass side is bolted in, blove box and ash tray are special parts.

I am trying to remove the existing woodgrain panel and replace them with new ones.
I can't find any clips etc that are holding them in place and I don't want to brake them while removing them. There is no radio or nuts holding them in place.

Someone might have glued the radio ones in. Everything else is as Kevin said above. The wiper does have 2 studs with nuts on the back side.

You are right, they were glued in. Are the two nuts the only things that hold the radio in place. I ask this because the plastic frame is pretty flimsey and I only have a threaded connection on the volume side of the radio. The one on the tunner side is missing.

There is a small metal bracket the supports the weight of the radio on the right hand side. It's about 3" long. My dash radio cutouts are pretty hammered but with new woodgrain inserts and the back bracket, it supports the radio with no issues. There is one on ebay right now ( #180000466971 ) if you want to see whats it looks like.

Thanks, I bought the bracket and the wood grian inserts. Now I need to figure out where the bracket connects to the radio and the car.

Bottom right hand side of radio (looking at it from the front) there should be a small hole and the other side mounts to center dash support below where you clip your emergency flasher to. Go in from passenger side. You should be able to get to it with no problem.
Here is a pic with it installed.
