I am tryng to finish up detailing for a friend a true 1969 Z-28 motor. I am not real up on the chevys. I need help with two things.
1) can anyone send me a picture of how the carb linkage rod hooks up?
2) how do you install the fuel pump so the rod in the block stays up to attach the fuel pump.

I can help with #2. On the front of the block, there's 2 pairs of tapped holes for the old tri-five front mounts. The upper one on the pass side goes into where the rods is. Run a bolt in there, and hold the rod up while you snug it, it will hold the rod up.

Don't forget to put a short bolt with some thread sealer in that hole permanently, or it will weep oil.
