I have a choice in brand names where I shop for parts. The cost is the same for both brands. One is the ever so popular Soff Seal and the other is Metro. Just wondering if anyone has used both and perfers one over the other?

Have you done a search in the forums on the subject? I have used both. I ripped out the soff seal, and put in Metro. Bought the metro at my local Kragen Auto Parts store. I like the metro.
Reason I ask if you have done a search is that you'll get a few different responses. Pro and con on both types.

I think it makes a difference which specific applications you're talking about.
Some softseal products are pretty good, but in the case of door weatherstrip, metro wins hands down.

Or the new latex ones from OER. That's what I bought, but have not installed them yet.
