When I bought my car I found the correct fan and flywheel in the trunk. I found all of the Z28 parts on the engine except the block , carb, and heads. I will list the casting/part numbers on the flywheel and fan to see if anyone can help me ID these. Fan: 19", 7 blade, 3901431 and under this number is 914692L73. Flywheel: 3789733, L216, 11" diam. Not 100% on the casting number. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Greg

The 1969 Z-28 used a 10.4" clutch, I believe the flywheel is about 12.5" across. There were two possible fans as I understand it. Both had 7 blades, each blade attached with 4 rivets. One had a xxxx772 part #, the other is not stamped to my knowledge. Jerry M's book is an excellent study on all of this.
Hope I have helped a little-

I may not have been clear in my post. The part/casting numbers listed were the parts found on the engine that was in the car when purchased. The correct Z28 parts were in the trunk. The flywheel is for an 11" clutch not 11" in diam. as I stated in 1st post. I did get the description correct on the fan. Just wondering what these parts went to.
Thanks, Greg

Thats alright Rob, I had a hard time following my own post. Thats why I thought I would try to clarify my post. I am just trying to figure out what else the previous owner was into. I know he roadraced a 68 Camaro and my car had a couple of roadrace mods to correct. I think the flywheel is a big block part but don't know the application. Was real curious about the fan. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Greg
