I just looked at a 69 convertible for purchase. Late production Norwood car with no X code.

Vin says late production. Should this tag have an X code?

Also, If I am not mistaken, the body numbers did start over in August/September of 1969 so the body number should be good.

Am I correct?

Data from tag is consistent with production at that time. It is not unusual for a later convert tag to be missing an X code. No one knows why.
