Just had my 68 Convertible Frame blasted and Zinc'ed. Looks great.. I am looking for new nuts and bolts to put it all back together. Any one know where I can get them from?

 Good Luck,!!!!!, Are You talking about the hardware that it takes to bolt the frame back onto the car???????.. Do you have any of the original washers, they are a very special type, Believe me I know,, As far as I know, no one reproduces all of the special nuts, bolts and washers that it takes.. :( Some of them are chrome and some are not.. Some have a square shank with round threads on the end for the nut to go on,, If you don't have any/or all of the originals, you'd better start beating the bushes right now

I agree with wacky. Why not refinish the old ones? That's what I did.

the bolts from amk are original. they had purchased entire warehouses of original nos hardware.they spent years doing the research of what bolt is used for are cars.they put them in great kits....

I love AMK, but they don't have much in the way of convertible frame bolts unless you're after the ones that attach the frame to the body.

gonewacky: Thanks for the PM - cute kid in your sig.

John;,, Do you mean they have the bolts that attach the back of the frame to the body,?? the ones that have some chrome some not, and do they have the washers that have the serrated face with the square hole in it,????... I went into a major panic when I could'nt find my originals,, also at that time I needed the plates that everything attached to...

Dale: I'm not 100% sure, but AMK probably carries the 3/8-16 thread bolt with captured SEM (serrated) washer. There are three of these on each side and the original finish is black oxide. Are you still looking for these? I think they also have the philips head chrome screws with star washer that attach one of the middle bows.
