1967 and 1968 Tail light housings are totally interchangeable. You only have to change the lenses and chrome and wiring. Im picking up the Morrso in a few days. I still need a template for the back up lights on a 68 Camaro RS. If anyone has a used one or measurements that would be great. I saw this question for a 67, and I may end up doing what, Steve "Camaro" did and walking up to another owners door. But here in MN their arent too many Camaro owners..lol.

I said this in the other post, I have a section on my website entitiled "r/s features" I took pics of all the stuff for the R/S (not all there yet) but the back section is done, it has all the pics for the R/S backup lights on the valance and the rear taillights, inside and out. you can use these as a guide, although mines a 67 R/S , but should be close enough. firewheel sells the templates for $7.95

As Austin Powers would say, Yeeaaa Baby!!!! I'll bet it's still pretty cold in MN. Was I right in that the 68 bezels have the center divider, breaking the lens in two pieces instead of one? Anyway, glad you have it figured out. Chris has some good pics of his car, have you checked it out? I'm having a hard time getting a web-page built so I'm just going to E-Mail some pics to ya. As chris said, someone has sent measurements the past couple of days, should still be in site. I would think 67 & 68 are same for back-up light placement. See Ya.

As for the measurements for the back up lights, try doing a search in the body shop or general tech sites. I know it is in here because I found it about four months ago. Some very helpful people gave all dimensions for the lamps as well as the hole in the trunk for the wiring to connect to the harness. If you search and can't find it, give me a shout back and I'll find it for you. Good Luck!
