I still haven't been able to get any fluid to the rear brake cylinders yet, but now I have another problem. I have a leak where the front rubber brake hose connects to the disk brake caliper. It looks like it is leaking on the caliper side of the brake hose fitting. The bolt is tight, but I may have screwed up with the brass washers. Can someone tell me how it goes. I have it as follows: The caliper-brass washer-hose end brass washer-bolt.. It been a while since I put it back together but I remember haveing some of the washers left over.

Are you sure that the washers are brass? They should be copper, and should be replaced with new when removing the hose. Also, insure that you have the correct I.D. washers. Your installation order sounds right with a washer on either side of the hose fitting......Jb

A couple of things you may want to consider...

Have you checked the fittings to make sure there
is no dirt on the seat and it is seated properly?

Also check the washers to makes sure there are NO
burrs on them which would prevent a proper seal.

Are you sure the material of the washers is brass?
As someone mentioned earlier, it should be copper,
because it is soft and will form an airtright seal.

It sounds like you are getting pressure from the
master cylinder. Progress is good!
