What could be the problem that my back brakes wont bleed. I have fluid going down to the junction block on the frame (both sides) but I don't have any at the junction behind the gas tank. I tried a vacum pump, the old fashion bleed technique, The gravity deal, I even sucked brake fluid from the right rear to the left rear. Is there any way to pump brake fluid from the rear to the front MC. I think if I could get some fluid into the lines I would be OK. Also if you have bleeders on the MC can you bleed it on the car and how?

Something is not right. Are you sure your M/C push rod is not too long? It will keep the fill hole covered if it is. You should defintely be getting fluid if you're pumping the pedal.

I have power disc brakes and I am using the long rod. Do you think that could be the problem? I thought that I might have the problem if the rod was too short, but not the other way around.

have someone pump the brakes while you watch the master. If things are right, you should see the lil holke in the bottom of both reserviors squirt a lil fluid at the beginning of the stroke.
If they do, you gotta blocked line going to the back. Have you tried blowing it out with compressed air?

Like Jim said , but backwards, blow from the suspected plugged area but disconnect from m/c .

I don't think it's a plug since everything is new. the only thing that is not new is the dist. block under the MC. Could that be bad? tere is fluid going to the front brakes. Like I said I have fluid going into and coming outof the junction block on the frame. How do you know what push rod to use. The short one seems too short it only sticks out from the booster about a 1/4 inch or so.

Seriously, and that easy...
If the master is releasing all the way, Then when the pedal is first pushed fluid will come out of those ports. You will be able to see it. Hit the pedal hard enough, it will bounce off the ceiling.
If fluid doesn't come out of the port for the rear brakes, your rod is too long, the master is not fully releasing, and it will not ever move any fluid.
Probably not the problem, but a very simple thing to check and rule out.

could the splitter or the prop valve be bad? If so howdo you check to see if they are working and can yourebuild them?
