Finally obtained a 1968 stove shield for 68 327 RS Conv. Was missing the stove tube & shield (difficult part to obtain). The tube should be gloss black but what about the shield that attaches to the exhaust manifold, what color should this part be?

galvanized and riveted on. There should be 2 parts to the stove sheilds.

in 68 it is a one piece shield that bolts onto the manifold, no rivets and the stove tube attaches with a single screw. So the color should be galvanized. Do you know anyone that make a high temp paint in this color
