Hi, I've got a set of 68 Camaro doors which I would like to mount onto a 67 Shell..(Ya, I know its not factory correct..long-story). So I've noticed that the door hinges on a 68 have 4 bolts per hinge and a 67 has 3 bolts per hinge. So I was thinking of spliting the brackets.. via removal of the hinge pin, and creating a half 67/68 door hinge. I would like to know if anyone has ever tried this, or if there is any other way I could mount these doors.

In theory it sounds plausible...

You'd have to make sure that the hinge mounted to thedoor is the height and all as the '67part on the body.
