I have a new set of Energy Suspension bushings installed on my 67. I believe I am missing something because the bushing compresses when tightened. I hate to order another companies set when I spent enough on these already. Solutions anyone?

Sorry. Yes subframe bushings.

They should compress a little, there is a sleeve inside that prevents you from crushing them. Do you have the sleeves?

All I see is a metal ring on the edge of the bushing. I suppose I am missing the sleeve.

I had the same issue when I changed my subframe bushings. I tried to salvage the old sleeves but ended up getting a whole new kit w/the sleves.

I don't know why they don't come w/the sleeves in the first place. If I recall, there are two different size sleeves that need to be used for specific mounts.

Let me know if you're still stuck and I'll go through my paperwork and let you know where I got them.
