Is is ok to put a coat of POR on when the tepms have been on average 35-40 and my garage had been between 45-55. Thanks Tim choptop Jan 15th, 02, 03:27 PM No! I would avoid putting on any paint when outside temps are below 45 degrees F. You risk having the paint not cure properly (very slowly) at such low temps. You might be further ahead to try and keep the area free of moisture and wait until the outside temperatures are well into the 50's and close to 60 F to paint.
