i have a couple of questions. can a 1967 camaro with a 327 engine be a super sport. can a 67 camaro with a 327 engine be a z28?? and if it can be a super sport then can a super sport car have a cowl induction hood if it was original.

All 3 years ('67, '68 and '69), no exceptions:

Z/28 - 302
SS - 350 or 396

The cowl hood didn't come out until '69...

ok thanks. two more question. can you use ss hood hinges for a cowl hood and iff a 327 cant be a ss then why do they make gas caps that just say ss without the 350. thanks again. and they also make an original 67 cowl hood too??

SS hinges will fit any hood that will fit a 1st gen Camaro, I wouldn't use them on a fiberglass hood though. Gas caps are basically from 2 different years, in '67 they started out SS 350 and switched to SS which carried over through '68... No they don't make and never did make an orig '67 cowl hood. Once they started making cowl hoods they sold them over the parts counter and the same hood fit all 3 years...
