rich pern Jul 21st, 03, 11:18 AM Hi, I just purchased an antenna for my 69. It came in round instead of oval. When I emailed the seller, he said that the ovals were for am only and rounds for am/fm. Is this just BS or is he right? Thanks, Rich Brian Lewis Jul 21st, 03, 11:31 AM My 69 has the original antenna, the whole thing is round (base, antenna), the only thing oval looking is the clamp that goes on the underside of the fender to clamp up with the circular antenna base/nut. Kevin rich pern Jul 21st, 03, 05:13 PM Hi Guys, Actually, right now I have a cheesy aftermarket one. I just purchased this one off of ebay, and was expecting a oval type (like on a 69 I used to oen). The round one is OK, if it was original, or even close. I just wanted to make sure that it was as advertised, you know how "origianal" ebay parts can be! Thanks a bunch! The fuzzy far away pic does not help! :D I have one of each loose to try to take a pic of them.
