Hi guys, Have a question for ya. I'm refinishing my 69 Z-28 Cowl Induction hood and need some info. What color is the underside of the cowl hood where the flapper valve is ?? Is this black like the underside of the hood or does the body color and stripe paint lines go underneath this section ??
Also...is the flapper valve assembly suppose to be black?? Help here please !! Thanks, Mike

The underside of the hood is black, and the flapper valve is black molded plastic; stripes do not wrap around under the hood.
