I just bought a 69 camaro with out a windshield. There is nothing there where the windshield goes. The only thing there are the tabs for the tim. My question is when i call the guy to put in a windshield i don't see anything that holds the windshield in it's proper place. Keep in mind there is no sheetmetal ( fenders ,cowl ,hood.. ) on the car. It should have a proper place so the trim fits after the windshield is installed. Do I need to buy something that bolts to the cab thast holds the windshield in place. I hope you understand what I am talking about.
Thanks

Sounds like your missing the 2 window support brackets for the front windshield. $4.95ea at ClassicIndustries.com. Item #KW648. If you have a good window installer, he probably doesn't need them, but it does make the job easier. They can pre-fit the window and set the brackets properly if there installed.
