: NOS jetting ,fuel pressure settings?

HI have a ques on no jetting sizes ,i have just brought a ZEX perimeter 100-300 plate system i noticed a very strange thing in jetting chart the fuel jet they say to use 4 example for 150hp is a 53 size FOR FUEL and 62 for nitrous side
Why is the Nitrous jet larger then the fuel jet?
The reason i ask is if u look at the NOS brand off kit the jets they use are around the other way bigger for fuel side smaller jet for nitrous side
NOS use 71 for fuel side,63 for nitrous side
Used to have a nitrous works kit 100-300hp plate same as ZEX plate system larger for nos side smaller for fuel side ,why the diffence between the kits?
The zex kit recommends 6psi fuel press for all settings 100hp right through to the 300hp setting ,i thought the higher the setting the more fuel pressure needed thanks victtor

HI guys inregards to my thread above has anyone one got any good NOS setup or tuning links they can give me they might have some answers about jet sizes,and fuel pressue ect thanks victtor

All the nitrous tuning I'm involved with is an NOS fogger, and its a two stage high horse deal, so I can't help you with yours. The jet size difference is odd, with a fogger a "square" tuneup is safe (meaning same size for fuel and no2 jets) and we will go a 2 or 3 size split (more nitrous than fuel) for a big yet still safe on the fogger, and of course take out the appropriate amount of timing. But thats all out the window, since yours is not the same.
Basically, you are best going with what they reccomend, usually that will be on the fat side, but call them and find out, you do not want to find out you went lean, the hard way.
